How do I change or cancel an event I created?
Open the event and tap Edit to make changes — players are told about the big ones. To call it off, use Cancel Event at the bottom of the edit page.
Making changes
- Open your event and tap Edit (the pencil).
- Change what you need — the name, time, place, capacity, and more.
- Save. If you changed something players need to know — like the time, place, or price — MahjOS offers to email everyone who's signed up.
Once people have registered, the big structural choices (like the event type and scoring setup) are locked to keep things fair — but you can still fix the everyday details.
Canceling the event
At the bottom of the edit page, tap Cancel Event. Everyone who's signed up is notified. Canceling can't be undone — and if it was a paid event, remember to send refunds (see “How do I give someone a refund?”).
