How does the waitlist work for hosts?
When a seat opens up, the next person on the waitlist is moved in and emailed automatically — and you can promote anyone yourself from the guest list.
Once your event fills up, new sign-ups join the waitlist in order. You don't have to manage it — but you can.
- Automatic — when someone cancels (or doesn't finish paying), the next person on the waitlist is moved in and emailed.
- By hand — in your event's guest list, tap the up arrow next to a waitlisted player to promote them yourself.
Tip: For paid events, a seat being paid for is held for 15 minutes. If the payment doesn't go through, the seat frees up and passes to the next person in line.
